24 years ago Jim had his first on-stage role - and was hooked! Over the years he's has the privilege of performing roles as varied as title roles in both "Macbeth" and "Hamlet" to Santa Claus and his current dual roles as alien monk Father Veran and retired Marine Dr. William Robinson in "Dark Operations." Jim has been known to offer his skills to stage, screen, and even a professional wrestling ring. Jim has been an avid writer for almost 20 years and enjoys penning both comedy and drama. In his role as CEO, Jim believes in creating a family environment for the RPP crew and preserving 'old school' respect for the business of performance.

Chief Operations Officer Keith Keppley, Producer, Script Editor

Keith’s background in marketing and public relations and his experience in film production, script editing and theater stage crew serve as the foundation for his success as Chief Operations Officer for Rising Phoenix Productions. He served as the Executive Officer of the U.S.S. Armstrong in the mid-1990s and wrote for and published a newsletter for the U.S.S. Prevailing Wind.

Chief Financial Officer Dave Peifer

Dave’s level-headedness and highly-organized nature grounds the team and keeps them on task. In addition to his day job as an operations trainer, Dave headed up Starfleet International’s College of Alien History and Culture from 2000 to 2002. Under his direction, the College of Alien History and Culture earned Starfleet International’s School of the Year Award its first two years of operation. He lent his leadership talents to the U.S.S. Prevailing Wind as President from 1999 to 2001. His creative outlet is writing short stories.

Chief of Staff Royce Essig, Producer

Royce’s fascination with film and stage began as a young boy when he was taken in by the science fiction shows and movies of the 1970. His acting career began in high school and continued with the Carlisle Summer Fair musicals from 1991 to 1996. As well as, stage acting, He has been in several major film projects and some commercial work. Currently Royce plays the leading role in the Rising Phoenix Productions, Dark Operations. He will also be doing flash back work in the new documentary currently in production. Even though acting is his first passion, he has enjoyed being lead set designer for Dark Operations. He can be found on almost every shoot working in front of and behind the camera. Royce is also very much a part of the family environment found here in Rising Phoenix Productions.

Production Manager Nathan Schell

Nathan is the first employee of Rising Phoenix to complete the Manager in Training Program. Nathan's adaptability and willingness to learn are valuable assets to the company. Another asset that Nathan brings to his work on RPP's projects are the Supervisory skills from his day job and running numerous fan organizations (SciFiHero.net and a Trek PBEM game). He has become an integral member of RPP's management team.
